“The Journey of Krafty Ash: Turning a Hobby into a Passion”

How it all began

It’s funny how a simple scroll through Instagram reels can spark something deep inside you. Watching those fascinating videos of people creating beautiful crafts drew me in like nothing else. I’ve always loved crafting-ever since childhood, I’ve been the one to dive into handmade projects with excitement. But those reels did something more: they lit a fire in me.

I remember one day, my mom showed me a video of a distant relative working on resin art. It was mesmerizing. My immediate thought was, If she can do it, why can’t I? That simple question planted the first seed of what would eventually become Krafty Ash and gave me the motivation to star creating.

Taking the First Step

I bought basic resin materials, filled with excitement… and then let them sit there. I don’t know if it was fear, procrastination, or both, but I couldn’t bring myself to use them at first. It was like I was waiting for the right moment.

Then one day, I decided enough was enough. I made a heart-shaped resin decor piece. It wasn’t perfect, but I loved it and the best part was, so did everyone else! The praise and encouragement I received were just what I needed to push myself further.

From Hobby to Passion

I started making more resin pieces- keychains, coasters, and other small items as shown in the below pictures. At that point, it still felt like a hobby, something I did just because I enjoyed it. Fear and procrastination are normal, but they’re also reminders that you’re stepping out of your comfort zone and that’s where the magic happens.

Over time, what began as a hobby grew into a passion. I realized how much joy creating brought me and how fulfilling it was to make something beautiful with my own hands. That passion became the foundation of Krafty Ash.

The Birth of Krafty Ash

Krafty Ash started with resin art, where I crafted home decor pieces, jewelry, and small personalized items. What started with resin soon grew into something much bigger as my creativity expanded and so did my vision.

Today, Krafty Ash has evolved into a space for meaningful, personalized creations, including:

• Custom Mugs: Personalized designs perfect for gifts or everyday use
• Engraved Items: Custom engravings on bracelets and accessories

What Drives Me

The joy of creating something with my hands, combined with the love and encouragement I’ve received from family, friends, and customers, keeps me going.
